obvoiusly, this diet thing is going nowhere. back up. last week, up to 237.5 and this week down a tad to 236 lbs. how am i going to find the motivation to turn on the serious?? the only good news is that i’m only up a few since the beginning of the year. i think that’s good news…

  1. Maybe it’s time to try a different diet? Maybe you’ve done all you can with the one you’ve been on. That’s normal.

    My mom has tried every single fad diet known to man for the past 50 years, and the only one that’s done a thing for her has been Weight Watchers (the “points system”). It’s all about the concept of portion control, i.e. “everything in moderation”. It makes sense and isn’t about deprivation, so it doesn’t rule your entire life. Might be worth taking a look?
