continuing on from last year’s list of goals, i think this year i will table a few bunch and focus on a smaller, more manageable list of goals.

so here is the list for 2009, in no particular order:

• install zshell on my linux box
• podcast, podcast, podcast - alone or with my wife or a friend
• produce a podcast on linux - wahoo, done on Jan 14 using a logitech usb headset, still need to try to incorporate the mobile-pre usbunit so that i can have a guest.
  
• drop 50 lbs. starting at 243 and hoping to reach 193
  • jan 1 - 243 - starting point
• get some wide screen action on with 2 monitors in my linux installation
• buy a fireplace insert
• donate my christmas gift money to make someone else’s christmas better
  
• get some storm windows replaced on the house
• plan and implement a simple family budget
• design and implement a backup solution for wife’s laptop and my ‘puter
