internet radio is under attack! the riaa has successfully pushed the copyright royalty board (crb) to triples the rates for internet radio broadcasters only, without affecting any other radio broadcasters. this is unfair!!

go to savenetradio.org and get the number of your congress(man/woman) and call them up today to log your protest and to ask them to support HR 2060, the internet radio equality act. this is very important for the livelihoods of many internet radio broadcasters. it is also very import for the artists. they are being lied to by the record labels and lousy riaa.

keep up with the news and shats going on at their blog.

out in norway there is this band that uses kitchen appliances as instruments and pants that are way too tight, but they are extremely innovative. they are called hurra torpedo and this is a live video from their website.

this car stereo product bundles am/fm with cd/cd-r/mp3 cds and multiple backlit colors to choose from. but the awesome feature of this product, that is the reason for the $280ish price point, is the bluetooth phone integration that lets you make/recieve phone calls, in full duplex, through the stereo. it can also pause your music, sync your phonebook, show caller id, call history, and voice recognition for up to 150 names. too cool!!

the big question is, can i stream music from my phone through the stereo speakers? if so, that would be tic tac!!

plain wrap was a punk band from the 80’s. as far as i know they only had one album, and i got it…. but only on vinyl. so i never get to listen to it, since i have long ruined any record player that i own. after an extensive kazza, bear share, lime wire, edonkey, bit torrent search i found these 5 songs. 4 are from the album and the fifth, magnetic shoes is from a flipside complilation. if anyone has the rest of the pain wrap collection of songs as mps please drop me a line. i would love to have them in a format that i can listen to. for those of you that never heard of plain wrap, here they are!!!
saw dropkick murphy’s last night. great show! good set list, even though my wife wanted to hear rocky road to dublin. they played a good mix of older songs and i got to dance to finnigan’s wake. what more could i ask for? here are a few pics from my treo 600 camera phone. this thing is not good at pictures in the dark, but then i already knew that.

well, that’s gonna leave a mark… oh well, keep moshing! i went to the h2o/pennywise show the other night. ok, so, death by stereo played also, but they are just a screamcore band, like snapcase (bleak). anywho, show was great. both bands are supporting new albums. it’s nice to know they can still belt it out. the dancing was decent. the best dancing had to be for the pennywise rendition of minor threat. bodies flying all over the place. chaos dancing! none of that circle pit crap. somewhere in there i got kicked in the face. nice to have a souvenior. Here are a couple other shots….
